Photo of DS on FB without Permission

I've completely cut my mam off from my life. Very long story, years of neglect and more. I have a son, his birthday was yesterday. I received a call today that my mam posted a photo of him on her FB. She used a photo from my WhatsApp profile, it was a photo of me, DS and DP on xmas but she very tightly cropped me and DP out. She has no relationship with my son at all and never has.
I don't have FB, insta, twitter, tik tok or anything like this so his photos would not be on any of these sites.
I did not give permission. He is only 2.
I've reported it and emailed Facebook.
Does anyone know how long it will take to get it removed or if it even will?

You can access the picture if her profile is open, and report it to FB.

Anyone can see you WhatsApp profile picture even if they’re not in your contacts so you should take steps to hide it if you don’t want your child’s face viewable to others. Hopefully Facebook will take it down for you

@SnarkyBag I didn't know that, I have my WhatsApp set to contacts only and thought that only contacts could see my photo. My mams number is not in my contacts. I'll have to change that now to something without DS

To clarify.

You do not have your mums phone number stored in your phone? If so then another contact/family member has sent it to her. In which case never have him showing on your phone ever.
