Can't find original but if anybody remembers my thread about finding out whether or not I had a job, here's the follow up..

Although I've still not been told officially; from what I've heard today I will not have a job. I have approx. 3 offers on the table but am feeling completely screwed over.

I know it's not personal as they haven't even spoke to me about continuing ion my role - they've just ruled me out but at the same time... they haven't even spoken to me.. I'm good at my job and I'm really p'd off to have been ruled out.

I feel very hard done by at the moment and need a good kick up the arse please.

Thanks. I really need to get over this and be constructive but I really feel like walking out or at least telling them where to go.

Well they won't be giving me redundancy so I have to maintain working relationships with these people but I do feel like they've bent me over and buggered me senseless.

I just feel like downing tools and taking a new role and leaving them to pick up the pieces but I can't.. very frustrating.

Sounds like you ARE being constructive if you have other job offers - is there any reason why you can't leave and get another job? If you don't feel valued it's a very good reason to jump ship

The other jobs I've been offered are by people who have heard I'm looking (all within the company I work for). I've a good reputation so people are biting my hand off at the moment, I've 5 roles to choose from (3 from 1 person), plus 2 completely different. I've not spoken to all my contacts yet so hopefully will have more.. That's another annoying thing.I'm being screwed by a bunch of people who've never even had a conversation with me.

Luckily in the near future I don't have to see or work with these people but I would have liked to have carried on with my role.

I kinda know it will be fine just feeling really cross today and need to vent. Hopefully this will force me to take a role that will mean bigger and better things for me but still not nice. Being the victim of old boys network. Hey, I've used it before to my advantage so I guess I know I have to take the rough with the smooth.

Mascara why are you 'ruled out' of carrying on in your current role, if that role will continue to be done? And if that role won't continue to be done why wouldn't you get redundancy, have you not been there long enough? Sorry if I'm missing something!

Sorry just seen other jobs are within same company, hence no redundancy, but why can't you carry on with your job?

because from what I've heard today I think they are carving it up and giving it to 3 different people.

I think they get round it by saying it's not my job.. it's a new job in a new organisation that spans a new georgraphy but for all intents and purposes it is my job (the aspects of my job) that they have carved up.

Nobody is talking to me at the moment which is what is pissing me off. It's off my own back and my reputation that I have got these other offers.
