We live in a resident permit parking street but have a drive, so no parking bay. My drive has some stuff for some work we are having done on the house and a skip in it, so me and dd are parking on the road. I had to purchase her a permit and I was told to use other dd blue badge in the bays

Anyway, today a neighbour across the road moaned at my daughter, that I am not parking correctly and taking up too much space (I have a large wheelchair accessable vehicle - WAV) There is one bay that is no parking for residents between 7am-9am and 4pm-8pm and has single yellow line through it, so I have been parking in that one as blue badge allows me to. I do drive right up to the edge but it is a big car

So, tonight I go out to my car and there is a parking ticket on it. BUT it is for a completely different car and was issued on another street 3 days ago. I'm thinking neighbours are seriously pissed off with me now parking on the road. I'm guessing I should just ignore them and continue parking as best I can.

I have to go pay my daughters parking fine (for parking in the bay with the yellow line, she didn't realise!) so will take the rogue ticket with me, just hoping they can see it isn;t anything to do with me

I don't want to pee anyone off, but I don't see what else I can do

Just leave it - the DVLA will write to them soon enough AND add loads of money if they haven't paid it
