My little treasure Angry who will b 2 on saturday was playing quietly in his room (o, silly mummy, why didn't I realise he doesn't plat quietly Wink. When I went to investigate he had put a whole tub of sudocream over his 8 month old brothers head, and spilt some on the carpet. It was a funny thing to c but I can't get it out of ds2's hair or off my cream carpet! help!

uh oh. Am useless on such stuff but very best of luck!

Oh dear. Been there kids done that! Mine nearly ate the stuff! I'm afraid we weren't able to get the suocreme out of the carpet or the rug (even after dry cleaning) but shampoo should get it out if you wipe most of it off with baby wipes first I would have thought. Good luck!

I could kill him! (not literally!) - He woke up in a naughty mood this morning and its one thing after another, he even had the cheek to tell me it was Harry! (DS2)!

Bumping this up cause I would love to know the answer. DS1 did very similar thing last week - pulled down his trousers and pants, and lathered his bum in it (and I mean LATHERED - the whole tub) then sat on all the living room furniture...

i'm laughing about it now, You could not see ANY hair on DS2's head - and he has lots Grin

My poor carpet - brand new too Sad

I managed to get most of it out of his hair with lots of baby shampoo, but his bright blond hair looks a little jaded now!

I saw something a little while ago that said you can use talcum powder to clean sudocreme off carpets. Scrape up as much of the stuff as you can with a palette knife, then cover the mess with talcum powder, leave for a couple of hours for the talc to absorb the gunk, then vacuum it up.
