cos apparently they dont. which is why almost all the disabled bays in tesco stevenage last night were taken up by non-badge holders.

(just because we havent had a parking thread for a while)

I saw a police car straddling two disable parking bays at the hospital on Tuesday

misdee · 07/02/2008 22:24

there was a lady with a blue badge hovering around the disabled spaces at Tesco the other day, i suggested she should go and park in a P&T space and she seemed quite shocked!

It was the one nearest the oncology clinic. Luckily we got the last space, as the current treatment dh has makes him VVVVVVV susceptible to the cold. Getting cold causes him massively painful pins and needles, and a choking feeling in his throat

MB - you should have reported the feckers. having said that, i guess if you were at the hospital you probably had other things on your mind...

Blandmum · 07/02/2008 22:28

car park man 'booked' him

theUrbanDryad · 07/02/2008 22:29

Blandmum · 07/02/2008 22:29

Not bad at all.

He has put back all the weight he lost in the run up to Christmas.

He has back pain, which is worrying me a bit.

But consultant seems unworried, she is delighted with his progress, and is hoping that he can manage another 2-4 rounds before the side effects get too grim

Blandmum · 07/02/2008 22:34

and how is the wonderful Peter???

misdee · 07/02/2008 22:41

peter is doing well. getting out and about more, and will hopefully have his driving liscence back soon, as DVLA have finished all his medical checks, and he has re-applied for a new liscence.

Peter has also gained all the weight he lost when he was ill as well. and looks so 'rosey' as well.
