I went to watch my dd swim (I don't go very often as it's during my working hours - this is my disclaimer)

Anyway, I run down the side of the pool as I'm late with my 5" stillettos swinging from one hand and running on my tip toes so the bottom of my trousers didn't get wet. I then proceed to keep doing silent claps at dd and giving her thumbs up etc in a very "Overpowering/alphamum/PFB" manner.

About 20minutes into this I suddenly thought of fuck I hope there are no MNers here there'll be ripping it out of me.

In my defence as I said, I only see dd swim about once a term and she was very pleased that I had surprised her by turning up. I was so mortified when I realised what I must look like to everyone else. lol

That would be me, but really late, without 5" heels (how do you walk in them?), almost certainly with holes in my socks/tights and generally looking so scruffy that no-one would think "Alpha Mummy" in a million years
