Can anyone please recommend a day out / somewhere to visit for a child who loves maths and numbers. My 3 year old son is obsessed with Numberblocks, and loves anything numbers related. Trying to think of a fun day out that would involve numbers :)

A few ideas as I had a tiny maths enthusiast too - any hands on science museums, trails with quizzes to help navigate, mazes

Slightly random but we used to take DS2 to the station for the morning. Numbers on trains, timetables, platform numbers, screens of information were his thing.

He was a cheap date at that age!

A day out on the bus/train, lots of looking at timetables, timings, which number bus you need etc.

Supermarket trip. Dealing with quantity, weights, money.

Library to get some number books.

Cooking class for quantity, weights, times.

And just build numbers into other days out. Make some bingo sheets for when you're walking/driving/on the bus and he needs to find 3 red cars, 12 buses, 3 people wearing hats etc. You can also play 'spot the number', look for numbers on road signs/registration plates/doors/buses etc. Get a pedometer and count steps. Count actual steps on stairs.
