Meaty offcuts?
Anything you are eating really if it is like our mutt.

FimboCLAUS · 02/12/2004 16:37

Sorry not a dog person but couldn't a neighbour or someone help you out with a tin

princessinapeartree · 02/12/2004 16:38

weetabix

Blu · 02/12/2004 16:39

Got any burgers in the freezer? (but cook them)

SpringCrimboTurkey · 02/12/2004 16:39

Going to ring BIL and see if they've got some i can pinch.

get him a tin of pedigree chun thats about 50p do him no harm the once

christmaskitty · 02/12/2004 16:49

meant pedigree chum

dogs eat their own sick afterall

happymerryberries · 02/12/2004 16:50

£22 on dog food! Blimey that is expensive. How long would that last him?

happymerryberries · 02/12/2004 16:50

Dogs will eat any sick, and dead rats.

SpringCrimboTurkey · 02/12/2004 16:53

Pleasant!

Usually lasts him 2 weeks - the vet recommended it as it is specially made for puppys going into larger breeds.
And there are only 2 places in about 15 miles that do it.
Pedigree Chum would be a lot easier.

Q. Why do doegs lick their balls?

A To take away the taste of the food!

Sods law that the only place that stocks it is so far away.

I wouldn't have thought that a slight deviation from the diet would hurt him though.

Blu · 02/12/2004 17:33

A tin of ordinary dog food from the corner shop will do him no harm at all for a few days!

CelluliteClaus · 02/12/2004 17:55

Tin of tuna? My dog loves it.

SantaFio2 · 02/12/2004 17:57

toast and butter and a bowl of milk

linniewithsparklingxmasbaubles · 02/12/2004 17:58

chicken or turkey or fish or eggs and boiled rice.....wont do him any harm was recomended this for my alsatian with a sensitive tum

jingleballs · 02/12/2004 18:08

SCT, as he's so young i'd go with teh scrambled eggs, at a push i'd do a bit of chicken and rice, but not v much of it, try giving him it in a couple of goes as if he's anything like my two were. they'd eat the whole bowl full cos it was nicer than dog food then puke it all back up about 10 mins later as they'd eaten it too quick.

Branster · 02/12/2004 18:14

if he's only 3 months old and accustemed to his own food, it's very likely he'll be sick whatever you give him to eat which is different from his normal food.
just give him some bread or weetabix soaked in water. I'd advise against milk but plain yoghurt is fine. only until tommorow he'll be fine anyway, he won't starve even if he doesn't eat anything I can assure you of it.

KangaSantaMummy · 02/12/2004 18:57

how are his legs?

I have been thinking about Luther quite alot recently and was going to find your old post.
