Cant believe my luck - probs with money, jobs, health, and pg scare

Sorry to moan again, but I have to get it off my chest. Too much is happening. Money is tight, mostly due to doing pass plus and with dd's birthday and Christmas coming. I havent been able to buy my mum, sister or brothers anything, plus its my sisters 19th birthday on new years day. Plus I wanted to buy something for dp's family too but thats looking doubtful now. I hate having to keep asking my parents to bail me out, and tbh Ive only asked twice. They're too busy bailing my sister out of her debt as she had messed up her car and has been in debt for the past year, and relies on her boyfriend to help her out too. Really does my head in since sister is working, just got herself a pay rise but keeps blowing her money on drink, clothes, and rubbish rather than sorting out her debts. Anyway enough about her.

I havent had any luck with jobs. Was suppose to hear from one job last week and another on Monday but havent heard from either so I presume (which I already had) that I dont have the jobs. Applied for my 100th application yesterday. Getting a bit tired of this now. Would like to work in an office, but now I think I should just apply for anything and take whatever that comes, because I dont think I can cope as I am for much longer. Ive got about £7-800 to pay off which I guess doesnt seem too much, but would be great if I could get rid of that asap.

Bit of good news, last week I had tests done, as doctor thought I may have a pelvic infection. Results were normal, but a couple of days after I had the tests done (and sorry to be graphic and disgusting now) I noticed a lump down you know where but on the outside. It's in the same place that I had been bitten (yes bitten) back in the beginning of Sept when in Crete so not sure if this is significant. Plus I found another one at weekend inside. Its a little itchy, its white and looks like a pimple. Should I go back to the doctors?

Also I have been worried this month that I may be pregnant. I think its partly because of dp always worrying, but Im a few days late. Ive been on the pill, and so should be covered. When I was on my tablets which could affect my pill, we used extra precautions. My period was late last month but still freaking me out a little as the month before my last period, I forgot to take a pill, but did what the leaflet said, and then i forgot it again, so did the same again. Is it possible to be pregnant and still have your period? Is it at all possible to get pregnant if you're on the pill?

Please put my mind at rest, plus my washing machine is still broken, and my kitchen floor is still wet. Thanks xxx

Hi Tammy, sorry you are having a rough time.

First things first - have you tried temping agencies etc for office work? sorry you don't seem to have had much luck with the jobs. do you feel up to phoning them up to ask what is going on/to get feedback if they have knocked you back?

about your gynae problems - doesn't sound anything serious but always best to go and check with GP- sometimes problems can be down to something really simple but needs medication to clear it up - like friend felt really sore down there, and turned out she had exczema there!

in terms of the Pill. doesn't sound likely that you could be PG, but noone can 100% say you can't be PG - just about every form of contraception has a failure rate (think it's 1 in 100 for pill) so all I can say if you are worried is to do a test. i think you can still get bleeding when PG (and particularly if you are on the pill, as you bleed as a reaction to having a pill free week, rather than it being a proper period iyswim).

hopefully tho if your doc did an internal last week, he/she would have noticed if you were PG (think your cervix is different if you are PG).

re:pressies. a tough one but if you've not got the money, far better to resist spending it on pressies. will your family be sympathetic about pressies?

thanks MTS, dont think my brothers will be that bothered if i dont get them anything as they didnt get me anything for my birthday so i could just return the favour my sister has got everything under the sun so i was thinking of just getting a voucher or something. mum wouldnt be bothered, and im sure shed just love a photo or something home made by dd.

havent thought of ringing them back, which is a good idea. will try that. if i went to the doctor, could she do a test for me to see if i was pg? i did have an internal but i was in a lot of pain so she couldnt do a proper one
