Slap up meal reward from Boss - where shall we go?

DH's boss has told him that he can take me out for a meal at his expense (providing it doesnt come to more than £300 for the pair of us).

Anyone got any suggestions. We're not used to having such a large budget (seems very extravagant) but anyone got any ideas?

went to club gascon for dh's birthday once, we had the £50 a head meal, it came with a different wine for each course - very very rich food though, lots of foie gras, only for confirmed meat eaters

It's been a long time since I lived in Putney. I haven't seen the restaurant. It sounds daft but which side of the bridge is it on and what has it replaced?
