My mum is having hard time at the moment, menapause, parent living with her, teenage daughter etc....She is really desperate for some kindrid spirits out there to share with, not only the rough stuff but also some friends to socialise with (live in North London). Most of her friends do not have the same responsibilities as her and therefore do not really understand. Tried to get her to log on herself but a little pc shy!!!

She is a strong, fun and intellegent woman, who is not feeling as confident as she could, if that sounds like you or your mum, please contact me via e-mail or on here.

This might help.

thankx Willow2, but really lookin for a way for my mum to meet other women at her stage of life. Tried doin google for chat rooms, nothing was clear. Is it rude to ask on mn if there are any other menopausal mums lookin for chat/support/friendship????

maybe I should just go for it?!?!?!

I'd go for it - how old is your mum? Also, the Amarant trust could put her in touch with people I'd have thought. They are meant to be really helpful.

Ok, what about all these?

try this

How old is she, kinkipinki? I am at a similar stage though luckily have no parent to worry about...
