Storing family memory videos from phone

I have heaps of videos of my kids and family life on my phone. I'm trying to get better at printing photos as I think they're far nicer to look back on, but (cloud storage aside) I was wondering if there are any clever ideas for storing videos from your phone? I'd like them to be easily accessible to my kids in future and cloud storage doesn't really allow that.

All I can think of is to save to a USB / CD but that seems a rather time consuming way of doing it (having to drag over individual videos across and save to an external device).

Why would you have to drag every video individually from the phone to a USB stick? I back up mine to USB, just plug it into my phone, go into files and select everything I want copied across, done. Depending on how much you're moving it can take a couple of minutes but generally it's a few seconds. If you really wanted you could then transfer from the usb stick to a CD but I personally wouldn't bother
