Anybody had this before!? We've suddenly had an influx of blue bottle flies in our house and it's making me feel ill they're so disgusting! We were away for a week last week and over the last two days we've noticed them appearing around our living room window! Yesterday I counted 15!! We keep killing them, with the help of our cats, but we'll come back and there'll be more appearing!
We can't figure out where they're coming from - we've scoured the house for anything horrid like rotten food that may have fallen/dead animals (we have cats so it's a possibility) but we can't find anything anywhere! We just cannot figure out where they're coming from as they just seem to appear!? We considered the chimney or perhaps the loft but they aren't appearing where both of those things are! They're just appearing in the living room around the window.
Anybody had any experience of this? Or advice on how to get rid! It's making me feel so disgusting, I really really hate flies!
