any physiotherapists out there or people who know about whether there is a shortage

I was talking to my friend(a nurse) about the short staffing at dd's school and this has meant a cut back on her phisio sessions.
my friend said that there is not a shortage of phisios but a shortage of jobs.
wondered if anyone knew anything about this.

There was an article on the BBC news this evening about this 2 shoes.

Basically physios are being trained but are unable to get jobs in the NHS once qualified. Appalling waste of money and skills not to mention a PITA for people like your dd.

thanks(teach me to watch itv) i am in the process of writing a letter(phisio asked me to as it will help them) so it means the understaffing is due to a lack of funding.
