anyone in Wilmslow/Knutsford to help with some restaurant recommendations please?

I'm looking on line/Trip Advisor etc and it's a little over whelming😊

DH and DD (teenager) need to eat out in the area for the next few nights; they are looking for something not fancy but good food, mid price range, healthy options ideally and relaxed dress code (as they might have to eat out before going back to their hotel to shower and change.)

Knutsford is half way between where they'll be during the day and where they're staying so a good option. They have transport.

And somewhere with aircon might be helpful 😀

Can't give any specific recommendations as haven't eaten out in Knutsford for a couple of years but if they head for King St (main shopping street through town) and start at the Tatton Park entrance end, they'll find loads of nice places to eat. Good mix of chain type, more casual places eg Pizza Express, cafes, pubs; and nicer, slightly dressier places eg Piccolino etc. If they're eating out slightly earlier ie before 8pm I'd imagine they'll get away with being a bit more casually dressed, especially in this warm weather, provided they're not visibly dirty. There will probably be some nice country pubs that do food along the way back to their hotel too.

The Coach and Four is casual and has outdoor seating, plus sandwiches and salads on the main menu in case they don’t fancy a hot meal in this heat. The ‘young adults menu’ had smaller portions at a smaller price. Suburban Green is ace too.

Not a restaurant but if they want a really heslthy breakfast or lunch, Nourish in Wilmslow is gorgeous.

Mere hotel and Spa has a lovely restaurant overlooking the lake and will have aircon.
