Hi all, we are looking to move soon and are now between potters bar and High Barnet. My DC’s school is in potters bar and we work in the city so can take both underground or train to moorgate. Potters bar feels nice but it’s so far out and I think I prefer the high street of High Barnet, other than that don’t know much about each area… Anyone out there that can share the pros and cons of these living in these areas please? I’m leaning towards potters bar because it’s close to the school while DH prefers High Barnet as he wants to cycle into work. Driving everyday to drop kids off to school feels too much for me and if we can’t go due to work do nannies take kids? That must be so expensive in the end, does anyone have experience of having school further from home?
