Hey there!

I'm wondering If anyone can ease my anxious mind. I'm in my second trimester and after having my bloods done it's came back that my ferritin levels are 14. Is that really low? So, I was given Furius Sulfate 200mg to be taken twice a day to treat anemia.

I've never done well with iron tablets in the past, so I'm a bit worried about taking them when pregnant. But my doctor said that I must take them seeing that I need to be at my healthiest when giving birth. So, I'm asking for some advice here, would it be best taking them? Thanks x

Yes it would be best taking them. Anaemia can cause problems for the baby, not just you. If they upset your stomach take them with food not on an empty stomach, if they cause constipation take fybogel, it’s safe to take daily during pregnancy.
