Moving to Bicester, Oxfordshire or surround area?

Hi,
Does anyone have advice on moving to Bicester, Oxfordshire or surrounding area?

We will be moving there for my partner’s work.

We are open to the surrounding area but need somewhere not far from Bicester for his work and easy to get to Oxford on public transport for mine.
Also we need advice on a good secondary school for the kids (which they would be able to make their own way to). They are 14 and 17, the younger one is a really good student and the 17yr old does sports and basketball at school. Any opinions of The Bicester School?

We are into athletics/running clubs, outdoorsy stuff like fishing, country walks with the dog, day trips to nearby areas etc.

Any recommendations of areas, towns, schools, things to do etc would be much appreciated. Overall opinions of the area? We are considering Kidlington, Banbury or even Buckingham or Brackley but only if that would be suitable for school for the kids.

I know the area but as my children are now adults I haven't much advice on schools however Buckingham would put you in the Grammar/secondary school system whereas the Oxfordshire towns have the comprehensive system so you might want to bear that in mind. Kidlington and Bicester have easy public transport links to Oxford, Banbury is also connected by train. I'm not sure what the buses for Brackley are like, Buckingham does have a bus link but it is further out so might take a while.
There is plenty of countryside suitable for dog walks, fishing and running are not my thing so I will leave others to comment on that.
