It's our church quiz. All questions or answers have a connection with TIME.
Dh, my dad and myself are really stuck with the last 3 or 4!!

1. Commuted on the 8.10 train - 2 words with letters M.B.

2. Doesn't grow at 60mph - 4 words M.a.M.V

3. Inserting deadline in contract - 5 words M.T.o.t.E (this could be Making Time of the Essence)?

4. No encryptographer needed - 3 words T.C.C

any ideas?

4. something Crystal Clear? (don't know what this has to do with time, though )

or 2) something like Moving at Maximum Velocity? (again, does that have anything to do with time?!)

I googled and found the sale of cars was banned for a while during WW2, but then what's the A?
Automobile?

The other question, 'Comes after one', has a one word answer beginning with C. My dh put Cuckoo! But I don't think it's that.

Have been thinking all day but could only come up with Chime or Catalyst (?) for the 'C' one

my dh has just watched Mr Benn on Nick Jnr! (In the interests of the quiz of course...) But there was no mention of him going on a train - BellaBear are you sure?

I liked the Mile a Minute Vine, would never have found that! My dad had never heard of it either! There were 100 questions in this quiz. dh was a bit peeved that I was better at googling than him, and got more answers that way.. and MN of course

it must be 'chime' for the comes after one- when Big Ben strikes one o'clock you get 1 chime

I spent a lot of last night awake trying to work out the "comes after one".
