My friend is moving from Ireland to Herfordshire in January as her dh is joining the Herts Police. As property in Ireland is much cheaper she is going to have difficulty finding something in Herts. Dh will be based in Hatfield - can anyone give advice on inexpensive but nice areas within a reasonable commute - they only have about £110K to spend and need at least 2 bedrooms. They will probably have to rent at first... THANKS
