A valance goes UNDER the mattress. Matress goes on top. Sheet goes on mattress. You can get 'valence sheets' which are 2 in 1 but I don't see the point really.

Ooooh I have a valance question!! We have two mattresses on our bed (one on top of the other) can you get extra wide (high?) valances anywhere?

Maidamess · 09/01/2008 22:12

Are you sure you need a deep valance, or a deep fitted sheet?

Also, have you got a pea under that bottom mattress?

Maidamess · 09/01/2008 22:14

Just remembered, you might need to get an extra big flat sheet, ie superking as I don't know if a deep fitted sheet would be deep enough for 2 mattresses.

I used to work in a linens dept, by the way, thats how I know all this crap useful information

lol at pea. Yes and it flipping hurts [princessy wince]]

Yes - have thought about the deep fitted sheet option...can't be doing with flat sheets though (I am royal y'know ).
