Birthday present for 11 year old boy - something Top Gearish?

I am hoping that someone who knows a Top Gear fan might see this and be able to advise. I did think I'd get him that magnetic cool wall kit but they go for LOADS on ebay. Am !

He doesn't like books.

I wondered about Top Trumps? Do 11-year-old boys still play top trumps?

Under a tenner would be good. And postable.

MY DS aged 13 got both the Top trumps (I checked he'd like them) and the interactive DVD for Christmas. Plays the Top Trump game with DS aged 15. Interactive DVD great fun played in a group. How about a DVD? Picked up Supercar Showdown (Clarkson) for £7.00 from Zavvi - as was Virgin.

11 might be a bit young, but DS asked for and loved Top Gear Seriously Cool Driving Music CD

The BBC shop has quite a lot of Top Gear stuff, but most of it seems out of stock currently

Amazon has DVDs, the TG calendar, Top Trumps and CDs.

BroccoliSpears · 06/01/2008 22:08

Thanks everyone!

Some good stuff - am torn between the CD and the top trumps. Maybe the CD - it is Seriously Cool after all...

Isn't there a dvd of the challenges?

Will 'ave a google...

WendyWeber · 06/01/2008 22:11

Woolies had the Top Gear Interactive Challengee for about £7 over Christmas, but the buggers had sold out by New Year's Eve - might be worth checking if they've got any where you are, I was going to buy it for a 14-yr-old I don't know at all on the grounds that there can't be a boy alive who wouldn't enjoy blowing up virtual caravans!

WanderingTrolley · 06/01/2008 22:12

Yes, there is.

WendyWeber · 06/01/2008 22:13

I had to get this instead, not nearly as much fun.

Or he might like Motorsport Mayhem (I think many of us would!)
