DH has started a Petition to 10 Downing Street

He is annoyed at having our bank details out there somewhere along with everyone else's who recieves child benefit.

If they couldn't keep that database safe, then how the hell can we trust them to keep even more in depth information of ours safe?

But what is the petition asking for exactly? For them not to lose them again ?

it is asking for them to indefinitely postpone introducing ID cards until they can make certain that they have systems in place to prevent the gov't from people's personal details them again.
