Estate agent came this morning and we are now offically "for sale".

I didn't want to be here so I let Dh deal with it all and he made the EA out it on for £1000 more that he suggested.

So if anyone has £216,950 knocking about........

Gutted really but that's a whole other story.

I thought Gloucestshire was pricey too emma?

marialuisa · 23/11/2004 13:21

Congrats Emma. there's something to be said for being a forester...

Practice saying "calm" with all the letters pronounced if you really want to fit in. So "call-m" rather than "carm".

emmatmg · 23/11/2004 14:05

I will set us all that task tonight maria

JT, the house itself is only 8 miles from Wales so I although Gloucester itself is expensive it's not as bad as here.

sweetkitty · 24/11/2004 14:21

had viewing at 1 today seemed keen but you never know

emmatmg · 25/11/2004 16:43

have you had any news SK?

Anyone else had any luck?

keeping my fingers crossed for all of you.

we've had all the offical looking letters now, DH is dealing with it all so I just agree and sign whatever I need to

Had new carpet laid today so buyer will hopefully come soon to see it and we'll get to meet her. I hate not knowing who's going to live in my house.

nothing yet

I wouldn't care if a herd of satan worshipping wildebeest moved into our flat as long as they paid for it!

HelloMama · 25/11/2004 17:40

i'm so glad that its not just us who is having probs selling! We put our flat on the market 4 weeks ago with the usual EA banter 'oh, this will sell quickly...' but we haven't had a SINGLE viewing! we have had an offer accepted on such a lovely place as well, on the condition that we sell ours relatively quickly... well, that was 4 weeks ago as well. I can only assume the other place hasn't had anu other offers. The hardest part of all this is trying to keep the place tidy all the time just in case!
