Is it just me who's getting a crab walking down the middle of the screen when I click active convos?

Very annoying advert. No I will definitely not book my holiday with that company whoever you are.

is this a remnant of a heavy night?

GreenGlassGoblin · 01/01/2008 12:51

not just you. A crab walking down an orange stripe (and, no, I haven't been on the wine this early)

fizzbuzz · 01/01/2008 13:26

Yes, I had it, but clicked refresh and it went!

PillockOfTheCommunity · 01/01/2008 13:28

that must be the easyjet advert that people were mentioning on our postnatal thread earlier! I can't see it but several of them could so you are not going mad!

quickdrawmcgraw · 01/01/2008 13:32

I've never, ever had any ads when I've been on Mumsnet. Is it because I'm using Mozilla Firefox?

fizzbuzz · 01/01/2008 13:33

Bloody thing is now immune to refresh grrrrrr

EightRustyMaidsAMilking · 01/01/2008 13:34

Get Google toolbar & put the pop-up blocker on.
Simple cure for crabs....

TheYoungVisiter · 01/01/2008 13:34

yes!!! It's annoying and I hate it. Admittedly you only have to scroll down to see the active convos but I object to wasting my precious chocolate-based energy resources on unnecessary mouse clicks.

SantaBabyBeenAnAwfulGoodGirl · 01/01/2008 13:36

oh i have firefox...i dont htink mn hq let intrusive ads in maybe u should email them and ask if its supposed to be on

TheYoungVisiter · 01/01/2008 13:36

it's not a pop up by the way - it's an actual mumsnet ad on the page but it's somehow escaped from a sidebar into the top-middle of an otherwise blank page (I also use firefox so maybe it's something to do with that...?)
