Whats the catch?

cineworld do moviess for juniors on saturdays for £1. Is it £1 for children and adults pay the normal price? or is it £1 each person?

DS1 would only possibly sit thru a film so am loathe to pay the normal price, £1 is ok if he won't sit thru it and he is keen to start to go.

No catch, apart from it can get busy if the film is popular. Its £1 per person, and is an absolute bargain!

Our local one even does booster seats for little ones to sit on

PillockOfTheCommunity · 01/01/2008 18:10

I think they all have the boosters?
the only 'catch' is that it isn't a current release film, and there is usually only one each week, so you don't have a choice what you see.

very good idea though!

DingdongMaryBonhigh · 01/01/2008 18:18

We have a choice of 2 or 3 at ours usually... and the boosters do run out sometimes...

MerlinsBeard · 01/01/2008 21:21

i don't mind about curent releases, i don't know what they are anyway.

sounds good to me!! Will look into it at our local cineworld then. Thank you

I want to live somewhere with more choices then

one of the down sides to rural life!

MerlinsBeard · 01/01/2008 22:21

does a car seat type booster fit cinema seats? and can you book?

I guess a car seat booster would fit, no idea tbh, we've never had a problem getting one of the cinema ones

I don't think you can book, not online anyway

DingdongMaryBonhigh · 01/01/2008 23:01

We're rural as well. I guess a normal booster seat would do. I don't think you can book.
