Frimley/ Ascot - buying a property

Hello, I'm new to Mumsnet so hopefully I am posting correctly. I'm hoping for some advice on both Frimley and Ascot as we have found two houses that we like but not too familiar with the areas. Baby is due in 9 weeks and we are looking to move to a family friendly area with good schools and nurseries as we intend to settle. Any advice on either area would be greatly appreciated. TIA

I think North Ascot is meant to be nicer than South, but that's about the limit of my knowledge!

Watching with interest though as houses do come up in Ascot quite a lot.

Thanks for replying, the house is in north ascot so that's good to know. I have found posts from previous threads but unfortunately they are really old. Hopefully others will also be able to share some knowledge on the areas.
