Just thinking about DSs Birthday, we went to Odds Farm last year so I thought we would go to the Zoo this year with some family and friends, but dunno which zoo to go to. Also, do any do childrens parties? I looked on their websites and they do all sorts of adult parties, business events etc. but I cannot see anything about Childrens parties (??!). If they don't, you wouldn't get told off for having your own in the picnic area would you? I don't think we could travel back home in time for a party without leaving after only about 2-3 hours from the zoo ,so want to do whatever there. It wouldn't be big, he is only 2 Thanks.

Marwell is lovely but I don't think they do kids parties. I am sure they won't have a problem with you taking your own food (we frequently go there and take a picnic) but there won't be that sort of "party with a staff member playing games with the children" sort of thing.

And it can be expensive to get in, especially if you are paying for everyone.

Or if you don't mind travelling, this place is near us and is lovely for smaller children Staunton Park.
