What's Father Christmas's address/email?

Daft question to me, maybe, but deadly serious to my nearly 6-year old. We're going to MIL's for Christmas and I've promised him we will let Father X know where we'll be. He suggested leaving a note on the door, but that might void our insurance if we get burgled!

So, do the Royal Mail have a box number for him? Lapland address? Or, even better, an email address?

TIA

there is an address you can write to where you will get a reply - just off to find it will be back!!

There are loads of commercial sites. I asked in post office and they said just put Lapland as the address and they will take it over the counter. Not sure what this means but plan to take ds there to post his letter and have manufactured a response on home computer which I will post to him!!

we send it in the post to lapland and you get a postcard back again

Send a letter to Father Christmas, Reindeer Land, SAN TA1 and you should get a letter back (Royal Mail). I've heard people saying you don't have to send an SAE to get a reply, and some even said you don't even need to put a stamp on your letter....! I can't guarantee it though!
