Her mum just happens to be my best friend but apart from her grans she has never stayed away before (at friends houses). Im sure she will be fine but she is my baby and I cant help worrying. Her sister is loving having all the attention though.

She WILL be fine but it is normal for you to feel anxious.

But it's great she's getting used to staying with your friend. That HAS to be a good thing!

Yeah I know, we are lucky in that one of her best friends just happens to be my best friends daughter, hope that makes sense. I'm sure she will be fine she has been sooooo exicted all day between that and the Xmas activities we did I just hope for my friends sake that she goes down early (8pm bed here).

DS (6) was supposed to go to a sleepover at a friend's tonight but chickened out. Not an issue except one of the reasons for the sleepover was that we were going out and couldn't get a babysitter! So we are all at home watching Elf!

Oh dear poor you. I kept expecting my dd to chicken out or have a panic before she went but it didnt happen, she packed her own bag and just went. Get dc to bed early and enjoy a night in with dh.
