No-one but no-one (not even dh) annoys and aggravates me more than my own mother. If it's not one thing it's another.

Please can someone else who can see where I am coming from advise me on how they cope with "mother" issues.

I know that there are many women who decide that it is for the best to literally have nothing to do do with their mothers although I have never taken it that far.I find things with two very young children hard enough as it is without mother "issues" to add to boot.

Anyone??!

Me! Me! Actually we get on ok but that is a bloody miracle that i cannot explain.
Mine drives me up the sodding wall, which sounds like I'm a lightweight, but she left my brother and I when we were little so I really resent being driven up the wall by her.

Long and drastic story, am in throes of bedtime, will be back later.

Throw, I started a thread today with the topic of mothers...and how I have just emailed her with the reasons why she hacks me off!

I'm still waiting for a reply.

Its not just that she was a bit batty and crazy like some Mums, but was unsupportive, jealous, emotionally distant, god I could go on and on.

The most important lesson you can learn from your mother is do not turn out like her
