Tips on the best places to shop in/around Manchester (for tomorrow)

I still like the trafford centre as it's much easier to park than the city centre and means you don't have to battle the manchester weather!

the new arndale centre is great though. and just opposite is the triangle which has some lovely shops that are a bit different.

If you're going to the arena then you need to end up in town, so you might as well start there! The christmas markets are on and the shops on King street and in and around the triangle are lovely - plus not too far from where you'll need to park. TC is ALL chains. HTH.

in fact most of the city centre car parks are really expensive!

I usually use the Great Northern car park which is next to the G-Mex one. I would shop in the City Centre too .

you could easily park at MEN and walk to everything

MEN is right by Victoria station which is very central. very close to the triangle and arndale. literally 2 mins away. 5 mins walk into the markets.

you could park up there and leave it until the end of the night no problems.

(might cost a lot though!)

Went shopping in Manchester today and it was lovely with all the Christmas markets (even in the pouring rain!) Trafford Centre is all chains although also undercover and easier in theory to park, but you'd need to be leaving around 5.30 at the latest to get through the traffic to get to the MEN and seated and sorted for 7pm - the traffic around the TC is dreadful at the moment!

It really is, its all posh shops and its sooo busy, your inside and its all stuffy.

Town is much more 'Christmassy' theres more shops, more variety, and best of all I'LL be there tomorrow shopping too! So no contest really!

Plus Town is where the MEN arena is, if you go Trafford Centre you will have to go driving about.
