I am in the middle of going through my financial settlement after I divorced 2 years ago. I am fighting to keep the family home but in the end it’s all up to the courts. My question is, has anyone been through this where they are forced to sell the family home but they cannot find any properties suitable in your area at that time? I refuse to go to another area as I don’t want my child to change schools as he has now settled in his new secondary school. I am so stressed right now and very anxious I don’t know what to think and I am panicking. Can the courts force you out so the house is sold before you find anywhere?
