Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, I am so pissed (OFF!) with Tchibo - can we have a boycott please, just to show 'em?

DS1 is off to France tomorrow for a ski season in Chamonix (he is going to be a Snow Ranger or Glorified Nanny)

I placed a huuuge order with Tchibo for ski stuff on Fri Nov 16 - jackets, salopettes, socks, thermals, gloves etc etc etc. It was despatched on Wed Nov 21 and was supposed to be trackable via parcelnet (another grrrrr) after 48 hours. Well it wasn't; I emailed Tchibo on Fri Nov 23 and they laboriously managed to reply on Tue Nov 27 saying they couldn't help (good, eh? When you go to parcelnet's website they say contact your retailer )

I found a phone number for parcelnet - via saynoto0870 as there is NO phone number and NO email address on their website - and rang the number given for Bolton because it's nearest to us. They said no, our address was covered by Bradford, and gave me the number for there (which I have now added to saynoto0870).

When I rang Bradford they said yes, the parcel had arrived, but it was Too Big For A Courier To Deliver (so why TF was it sent to them, eh? eh?) and was being transferred to Bolton to be brought on A Big Van.

I rang Bolton back and she looked it up for me and gave me a new parcel number. I rang on Wed 28 - it hadn't arrived. I rang on Thu 29 - it hadn't arrived. I rang this morning - it had arrived!!!! But the company who will be bringing it (Riley's? Who TF are Riley's? Don't parcelnet have Big Vans?) won't be in this area (about 40 mins away from Bolton ) until Monday.

I am SO MAD!!!! I have emailed Tchibo with my madness - not that they will care, they can sell the stuff again - I can't email parcelnet except using the form on their website and I can't be arsed. I want to RING somebody and SHOUT at them for their utter feebleness and incompetence

(As I had an inkling this was going to happen we've now had 2 major trips to TK Maxx and a minor one to Aldi and have got almost everything that was in the Tchibo order, except wool felt insoles and snow shoe grips but he can manage without those I guess - and would probably have lost the snowshow grips anyway)

But oooooooooooooooooooh I am PISSED OFF. So nobody buy anything from them now, OK?

I've had the same sort of thing with Play.com.

I rather stupidly ordered three of the same book (don't ask, I forgot to activate my new Ccard, so when the order didn't go through thought I had to reorder, TWICE, when I realised and activated, they sent all three)

Anyway! NONE arrived!!! (although the three Shrek3's did

So contacted Play, to be told they couldnt do anything till 21 days. (3-5 day delivery on items) as it was lost in post!!!

What all three!!!!!

They cant cancel it and return my money till then either!

The book was for Dad's birthday on Sunday and it is now to late to get it anywhere else!
