Contact the local council - or post a letter through the door -

Oooh, that sounds interesting, fio. Is it a commercial building ?

if you applied to the local Land Registry you should be able to find out from them. costs a few pounds and would probably take a week or two.

If you apply to the Land Registry it should only take 24 hours unless there is a problem and then they should contact you. It is part of their customer service to get an 'office copy, please supply' out as soon as possible. Send them the full address or do it yourself online.
