Framing school photos - am I being dense ?

Have dd's first 'official' nursery photo which I am attempting to frame for ageing relatives for christmas. However, they seem to be really odd sizes - is there some secret to framing them (or do most people put them away, for them never to see the light of day ?) ?

Yes, they are odd sizes - presumably to encourage you to buy their framed versions. You need to either cut the photos down a bit t fit the frame, or use some form of border for your photo to make it fit a larger frame. Or have it done at a framing service where they make a frame to fit the photo itself.

grrr... thanks. Will take them to framing shop and hopefully they might just be able to do a custom mount within a standard frame. Don't want to spend a fortune on the ageing relatives
