Things to do with toddlers near the Kings Road Chelsea...

A friend of mine is displaying some work at the Chelsea Craft Fair at Chelsea Town Hall soon and dp and I are going to drive there so that we can take it in turns to visit while the other one amuses the children (the thought of our 2-year-old running amok amongst the porcelain is the stuff of nightmares!). Does anyone know of any parks or anything near there for a 2 and 4 year old? Also any tips on where to park (it will be a Saturday or Sunday). Thanks.

yes, children's zoo is still there (not sure about opening times though). also, playgrounds, boating lake, cafe. there is quite a lot of parking inside the park itself.

enjoy!

If your kids will tolerate a bit of window shopping there is often some display or event at Daisy and Tom's on the Kings Road - Puppet Show upstairs and carousel down stairs last time we went.

I would also recommend Battersea Park - there are quite a lot of parking spaces and it is a lot cheaper than street parking around the Kings Road.

Although, the Affordable Arts Fair is on soon so the car parks may be very busy - not sure if this is at the same time as you are planning to go.
