As you know I've just got a house with the housing association.....

Everywhere is green!!! The kitchens the worst....a hideous shade of lime green!!!

Are we entitled to decorating vouchers? How do they work? can you only use them in certain places? how much are they usually for? Does it take long for them to come through cos I would like to paint before we move in if possible

I've seen lots of paint and wallpaper in Wilkinsons that I have kind of got my heart set on now......can I use them there?

Sorry.....so many questions!!! Don't know unless you ask though hey?!?

I have no experience of this Titania but I am sure Nutcracker had some vouchers with her house. Hopefully she will see this.

Titania · 07/11/2004 11:31

i was given £220 for our bungalow. that was for everything. i have spent over twice that amount! could use ours in homebase, john lewis and a few independant shops. Each area is different. They work out how much it would to basically decorate one room (my living room they put at £40, was more than that just for paint), kids bedroom they put at £20, costs me £30, you get the idea. If we had been able to use the vouchers at b&q instead, we would've got more for our vouchers as there is a £3 price difference between b&q and homebase for dulax paint.
