I've got a gift voucher for Neal's Yard and although I've had massages before I'm a bit bamboozled by all these different types. No specific purpose: just looking for some serious stress relief!

ask teh therapist if it is for strss relief and feel good I would go for aromatherapy - if you have muscle stress then a deep tissue if -you have both go holistic - not to sure about swedish or tuina (sounmds teh most interesting)
can you let me know what it is

Thanks! Tuina's a traditional Chinese form of massage - found out about it here

I'm a fan of deep tissue massage. Swedish never felt as if it really got down far enough.

I like aromatherapy as far as being pleasant and all but never really felt like I got the bang for my buck that a massage gives.

Yes I like a firm hand too jabberwocky

Sorry I've gone all nudge nudge wink wink. Seriously I do know what you mean jabberwocky - I like to leave feeling a bit tingly.
