last week he was selected to play in a soccer tournament at another school - his school took 2 teams of 6 players (out of a year group of 60+) and he was in one of them so playing football for his school.
Today he came home with a really lovely box of pencil crayons......which he'd won after they'd had a colouring competition when they had to colour in a picture of "old London".......I'd seen him doing it at home a while back but didn't really pay too much attention as I thought it was just another of "those" sheets they get sent home with and then get lost at the bottom of the junk pile....but it turns out they were encourage to colour it in and take it back and the top 4 in each YR2 class won a box of pencils
Oh and apparently he's going to have another "line" to read (he did one at the Harvest service) at the Christingle.......shall have to wait and see if that actually happens as I suspect there were probably quite a lot of other children that put their hand up when asked who was interested in reading something.....
