How reliable is Ebay?

I have just bought ds some kickers from Ebay for £20, they normally retail at £45. My mum reckons they sould be fake. I am worried but did check the sellers history and it was really good. Do you think it will be okay? I used Paypal as well.

if it's sealed you know it's ok. the only thing is that there are people selling cheap imports on ebay- be careful that they're the genuine product and not fake. By my reckoning you check feedback and go with your instinct

The description even said 'Hardly used, no box' - bargain?!

I have heard of people buying cheap knickers from Primark, wearing them and then selling them soiled on E-bay. Apparently she made about £20 a pair as they were only £1 each.
Love the carrier bag, must buy one to add to my collection

It's pretty gross when you look at it really isn't it- these things actually sell- some people pay good money for them... horrible
