eeeeeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

SO glad this isn't me.

MorocconOil · 17/11/2007 17:29

Eeeeuw, how hideous. I have never heard of that before. Was it all mangled up?

BitTiredNow · 17/11/2007 17:31

No, it was bottom up on the top, completely in tact and not stiff yet. Bloody things - I really hope the rat lurgy hasn't got into the heating pipes and we;ve all been breathing in airborne rat diseases....

my neighbour had the wires chewed in her car by a rat.
The rats were coming into her garage to get to some petfood she left there.
Is your car in a garage?

Desiderata · 17/11/2007 17:44

Poor BTN!

Don't worry about airborne diseases. I think they're passed through bodily fluids.

Anyhoooooo .... have you picked it up? Is it out now?

BitTiredNow · 17/11/2007 18:07

no, it's parked on the drive (the car, not the rat, that's in the bin - where my neighbour threw it and I now and too scared to put anything else in it (I know its dead but ughhh)). I emailed Dh and he said the rats have probably been charging their ipods from the car battery and that's why it's flat - such a comedian.......

He he he!

My little boy found a live mouse yesterday morning, and he was over the moon. It was so damned cute, and tiny, and lovely. We talked about what a wonderful thing life is ..

When we got home, some bastard cat had dumped a dead mouse on our doorstep ... which prompted a discussion on what a curious thing death is.

Rats like warm metal. Don't ask me why, but they do.

How are your boys?

dh is a mechanic and finds rats, pieces of birds and has found 2 cats under bonnets.

DaisyMoo · 17/11/2007 18:32

Much sympathy. I came down to breakfast earlier in the week and found a dead rat under the table I was SO glad dh hadn't gone to work yet or I dread to think what I'd have done (hidden it under a box probably and gone into denial )

Hi des, they're good, thanks- although ds1 was caught yesterday standing on the baby's chest yesterday....... was it you we had the chat about smoking with? If so, I cannot be a hypocrite, after the shocks of the last 2 weeks, I have sadly crossed to the dark side again after 6 years.....

Daisy, I would have left the house for the day - seriously....

Desiderata · 17/11/2007 19:06

No, it wasn't me, BTN. I'm an unashamed smoker, and have been for years

BitTiredNow · 17/11/2007 19:48
