Just flicking through the jobs section in the local paper (habit...been doing it for years) and it's struck me, yet again, what little opportunity there is for a Mum to work from home, around her family. Do any of you manage it? I mean, the type of work where you don't have to bother about childcare etc.

Hi MarmaladeSun
I do work at home, I started in May and originally just did it in the evenings, but I found it too tiring, and have now put my ds into nursery twice a week, just for school hours, (dd at school). I do freelance fundraising work. Even though I have chosen to put ds in childcare, I still have enormous flexibility, and just catch up on evening s and weekends if needs must.
