OMG - DS just throw a complete wobbly in the barber!

Just got back from a disastrous visit to the barber where ds1 (3 at Christmas) threw a total wobbly (worst paddy I've ever seen and it's still going on!) half way through his haircut. Had to give up and come home. Hair looks a mess as well.

Think I'll wait until he falls asleep and try and tidy it up.......what a nightmare!

Well I've taken ds (2 at xmas) to have his hair cut 4 times and he's screamed the place down each time so dh took him instead at the weekend and to a different place and apparently he was a little angel.

Buy some clippers and do it yourself, that way the tantrums are at least contained in the home . DH does ds's hair and sits him in a dry bath so there is hardly any mess to clear up. I am on hand for support and ds (just 4) usually only cries a bit now. Poor you, mumbo, I hope you get it sorted out .

I know what you mean dd is desperate for a hair cut but I know she will kick off big time. She is at presant walking round looking like worzel gummage. On the other hand ds loves his hair cutting. He likes Alison to cut it then when he's done he goes to the water cooler, gets a plastic cup and puts some sweeties in it from the counter because he's been a good boy!!!
