Why babies bounce? And other inane questions.
Dd (6 months)and I are at home today, she was sick but now she bouncing madly on my knee and squealing loudly. Does she fancy herself as a jockey?

Anyone else

no idea but dd does it on her legs herself, when she is holding onto the furniture she bounces up and down (mini squats)...why???

dogwalker · 01/11/2004 14:40

why is there so much fluff in the tumble drier and where on earth does it all come from?

Chuffed · 01/11/2004 15:28

or when there is none - where does it all go?

dogwalker · 01/11/2004 16:06

and why do teenagers grunt?

Stripymouse · 01/11/2004 16:07

and why is it that my 3 year old says "yeahbut" all the time when no-one in the family do this (and she hasn?t watched Little Britain)..

MrsDoolittle · 01/11/2004 22:37

Why do men always leave the toilet seat up? Even when you ask them to put it down? It's not hard

JoolsToo · 01/11/2004 22:39

why are hairdressers deaf?

emmatmg · 01/11/2004 22:44

I really feel so strongly about a repetitive thread/poster on here.

Why does it bother me so much.

Why am I desparate to post on said thread with a big "ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ heard it all before"

Gonna have to log off before I staat an argument I think.

JoolsToo · 01/11/2004 22:44

oh no! now you've got us all guessing - give us a clue then or can I 'smell' something in the air?

emmatmg · 01/11/2004 22:45

possilbly JT. Quite floral.....

MrsDoolittle · 01/11/2004 22:45

Do you mean me emmatmg?

OP posts:
moomina · 01/11/2004 22:46

Emma - because the subject is actually pretty serious but we all keep going around in circles with it and apparently getting nowhere. It's VERY frustrating. I have avoided it tonight. (Assuming we're talking about the same thing!)

emmatmg · 01/11/2004 22:47

God no MrsD.

There's only one person on here that makes me feel like this.

moomina · 01/11/2004 22:47

You are fragrant MrsD

JoolsToo · 01/11/2004 22:47

Mrs Doolittle are you floral??

emmatmg · 01/11/2004 22:49

exactly moomina.

if I could be bothered to do the link I'd find tne old threads for her, with all the advise she needs.

onlyjoking9329 · 01/11/2004 22:49

yes i noticed the thread, and get ready for the merry go round to start again

MrsDoolittle · 01/11/2004 22:49

I wrote that before you posted JoolsToo, it just take me ages to do stuff

OP posts:
moomina · 01/11/2004 22:51

Part of me feels really sad and worried about it - part of me thinks 'Oh, FOR GOD'S SAKE!!!!!'

Sorry MrsD - hijack alert!

emmatmg · 01/11/2004 22:53

THUD

Babies???????????!!!!!!

Skate · 01/11/2004 22:53

Give us a clue!

MrsDoolittle · 01/11/2004 22:54

Gosh Ladies, It has dawned on me [lightbulb emoticon]
Reminds of the first thread I ever read on Mumsnet, 7 months ago. I had just started mat. leave and was anxious with braxton hicks contractions

OP posts:
JoolsToo · 01/11/2004 22:55

tbh - I haven't seen any previous threads - but would tend to steer clear of ones like that anyway - I have no experience and couldn't offer any constructive advice anyway.

MrsDoolittle · 01/11/2004 22:57

Don't you mean herbie though?

OP posts:
emmatmg · 01/11/2004 23:00

Ditto JT.

I did add my teeny bit yonks ago but when I see the same thing asked over and over that was the first and only time.

I hate doing this, feels really bitchy. I just want the help and advise to be listened too and not ignored this time.

Back to the original question.

Why does my DH nag like a woman....like my mum infact?
