Breast milk - where have you spilt/left yours?

Just had a week when:

a. I didn't have the guts to tell my passenger that he had just spent ten minutes getting a damp bum, not because my sunroof leaks, but because I spilt 3ozs of breast milk into the car seat the previous day and I forgot about it

and

b. I left my breast pump with a bottle of milk at the MOT garage, and had to return very quickly to retrieve from extremely embarrassed 20 year old mechanic.

I'd like to know that someone out there somewhere has done something similar before I develop a complex.

Well don't know if this counts, but had to nip to get petrol and a few bits from our local Tesco.

When BFing I was always leaky, breastpads were a must. Unfortunately my brain wasn't in gear this particular day.

Plus it was hot day, so a light summery top was a must.

Got petrol, wandered around store, paid for petrol walked across the busy forecourt, DH smiled at me from the passenger seat.

DH then proceeded with an OMG (movie style reaction). I didn't notice the 2 massive round wet patches on my light summary top! Major

Have gone out with a breastpad stuck to outside of top and also with top undone many times!

Have sprayed breastmilk at doctors face when had thrush - he went to have a look and literally got an eyefull

well I squirted BM at an innocent toddler playing on the floor of the health visitors clinic.
I was trying to get my nork into ds' mouth and it just came flying out and landed on toddlers arm.
I was so flustered and apologized to the mum,she gave me a filthy look.

Have also put it in dh's tea.

slightly different... I made some farleys rusks with breastmilk for DD... DH was feeding her, and heartily joined her in a few spoonfuls, reminiscing how lovely it was and how much he loved it... to this day he doesn't know.... this is the man that jumped up and washed his arm with milton when i accidentally sprayed him whilst pumping one evening in the early days

mind you... the other night,we were having a really nice cuddle in bed,( sadly nothing more! ) he squeezed me closer into his chest and i moved back a bit quick which somehow resulted in quite a deluge of breastmilk squirting in his face and open mouth ( he was talking) ... i expected him to jump up and make himself sick, but he didn't...

have left expressed milk in fridge

aand found it gone when i returned

baby had not drunk it so who did??

Leaking all over the place with hilarity.

I have answered the door to the postman with a disposable one stuck to the side of my neck. I'd been dozing with DD when he knocked, and just stumbled downstairs without thinking to check where the one I'd removed just before that last feed had got to.

And what is it with men and breastmilk? DP said in the early days he wanted to taste some (expressed) but has never done so.

Ggirl - did you put it in your DH's tea deliberately or accidentally?

I was having coffee with some friends and one emptied out the remains of a bottle of her ebm to put the bottle in her bag into what she thought was a finished cold cup of coffee. When the other friend came back from the toilet she immediately drunk it!

MIJ, the idea of my breastmilk for some reason utterly repulses my DH, its like I'm some sort of freak excreting poison that only small babies can come into contact with! If you ask me... I think that REALLY, its because he's worried that if he has any other attitude towards it he'll be seen to be a wierdo with a fetish... or worse... he might become addicted to it

I daren't tell him he actually consumed a fair amount of my milk in that farleys rusk incident...
