Sorry, know it's not exactly an exciting dilemma for a Friday night and am not expecting to be deluged with replies but...

Haven't knitted for a while and am a bit rusty. Am stumped on the 3rd row of my pattern. Very basic interpretations needed please of the following:

K1(K1, yfwd, K1) into next st. Now, I get all the K1 and yfwd stuff, just can't work out what bit goes into next stitch.

Thank you so much for any help.

I can picture exactly what you mean, but I am flummoxed as to how to describe knitting into the next stitch. Sorry

yep, that's what i thought, you explained it much better though!

Where there is something in brackets there is an instruction after the brackets telling you what to do with it.

There are bobbles in the cardi - fortunately just a row at the bottom. And yes, it is p5tog on the next row. This all sounds very promising. It's what beansmum was saying as well. Thank you so much

Are you Debbie Bliss then?

Yup, I would say Debbiethemum is spot on. I wasn't in last night, sorry I missed it, I do love a knitting thread
