Animal costumes being too pricey please can anyone help me think up something home-made or v cheap along the farmer lines? Creativity is NOT my strong point...

i know u said costumes too pricey, but Asda do them for £6 and throw them in the sale rail for half price...

Does he really want to go as the farmer ? shirt, (check if got one?) jeans, wellies, bits of straw in hair or stuck on hat? if he is feeling creative he could draw himself a map of his farm...

otherwise suggest brown / beige trousers and matching-ish top, with some of your old tights - one leg of them stuffed with other tights (un-stuffed leg to tie round waist, stuffed one obv for tail) and either make some ears and sew or stitch them on hat or headband thingy.... you have a little cat. or reading it back it sounds like it could be a monkey or anything else you want .
