Hi,
I live in the North West of Scotland, but still haven't changed my bank account which is in south Devon, can't get much further away unless we emigrate !

My bank account is at a branch 200 miles away. Apparently it's no longer their policy to switch branches when you move.

My branch is the one from the town where my first job was - have not moved it and feel that there is no need to - tend to use phone banking the most often anyway

we live in Manchester our bank account is in Glasgow! why? - you got me!

Angharadkw · 28/10/2004 20:19

when I moved from bristol to south wales, I wanted to move my account, and they said that there was no need as everything is done centrally. I thought it a bit strange, but the bank weren't concerned at all.

my account is still in Norwich and has been for over 13 years now.

changed accounts, now on the internet! Got bored on standing in a queue and then being told that I should use the cash machine outside or see the person at the desk at the other side!

Ours is in Glasgow but we live in Cheshire. It's because it's a mortage account with RBS and their mortgage centre is there.

my account is still in BASINGSTOKE even though i have moved to DEVON and then to LEICESTER!!! It is a pain when they ring you and say do you want a review at your branch and i have to explin im a long way from my branch! My bank dont change branches anymore and when i want something ie overdraft etc i have to go into my local branch and ring my normal branch! what a pain!!!!

WideWebWitch · 28/10/2004 21:35
