Letter arrived this morning informing me that they intend to enquire into my claim?

Are these thing routine? Are they suspicious? It is for last financial year and I suppose my circumstances have changed greatly and I now only receive nominal amount.

They want a hell of a lot of paperwork from me. It's horrible - I feel they are accusing me of lying.

Yes, I have, where I stated we didn't have any savings and I had missed an account and we had over £8k which was the amount you could have. They were notified of some interest paid on it which is how they knew it was over £8k. Anyway, it was a genuine mistake on our part so we sent them everything they asked for and re paid the small amount they wanted and that was that. Don't worry, it's prob routine and they are perfectly nice to you these days!

Thanks www I - appreciate your response.

My wee one turned two this week and I had family round all day today so I couldn't get all 100+ pieces of paper together.

I have now made a start so I feel much better. It's still a pain in the arse though.
